| Abnormal Ground Conditions: |
In additional to the Gateway PGA Tournament Rules of Play, |
| other areas of unusual damage, including but not limited to the following, even though unmarked: |
| Non-burrowing animal damage, aeration holes, verticut marks, sod seams, erosion furrows, golf |
| car maintenance vehicle damage, ground cracks (width of a scoring pencil or greater), water |
| and/or construction damaged areas. Relief is for the lie of the ball only. If a ball comes to rest in |
| any of the aforementioned conditions the player may without penalty: Mark, Lift, Clean, and Drop |
| the Ball as near as possible where it lay, but not nearer to the hole. |

| Distance Measuring Devices: |
In this competition a player may obtain distance information by |
| using a device that measures distance only. However if during a stipulated round, a player |
| uses a distance measuring device that is designed to gauge or measure other conditions that |
| might affect his/her play (e.g., gradient, wind speed, temperature,etc.), the player is in breach of |
| Rule 14-3, for which the penalty is disqualification, regardless of whether any such additional |
| functions are actually used. |
