Fox Run Team Tops GreenFix Pro-Superintendent Challenge
The team of Fox Run PGA Professional Jeff Field and Superintendent John Briggs fired a round of 59, ten under par, to win the Inagural GreenFix Pro-Superintendent Challenge at Norwood Hills East Course. The better ball competition featured teams from 33 area clubs initiated by Danny Edwards, developer of the GreenFix Ball Mark Elimination System. The Meadowbrook CC team of Craig Liddle and Mike Carron came up one shot short after carding a round of 60. Four teams tied for 3rd with rounds of 62 including Westborough's Jimmy Bals and Tim Allen, Sunset Hills Jon DePriest and Mike Daugherty, The Falls GC's Brad Hulett and Rob Shchaft, and Lake Forest's Fred Friedman and Matt Sieffert. |
