Kokopelli GC Captures McGladrey Team Championship
Chad Cooper of Kokopelli GC in Marion, IL, fired a round of 64 to lead his team to victory in the McGladrey Team Championship at The Country Club of St. Albans. Cooper's team of Mike Warnsman, Kent Howerton, and John Koechner, edged the teams from Bellerive CC and Winghaven CC on the first playoff hole to earn a birth in the McGladrey National Team Championship Finals at Pinehurst, NC. Tied for second place were Brian Fogt, Andy Spann, Stafford Manion, and Andy Frost from Bellerive CC, and the Winghaven CC team of Nathan Charnes, Ed Magaletta, Todd Kleinheider, and Chad Hull. All three teams had tied at 17 under par to get into the playoff. |
